What's New?

We've had a lot of new merchandise arriving at the store this week. One of the newest things are UGLY DOLLS! That's right, Ugly Dolls. Maybe you have seen pictures of the Obama girls carrying their Ugly Dolls clipped to their backpacks heading off to school. These dolls are quite the rage. We have a sampling of them waiting for your inspection. They were created by a husband and wife designer team from Parsons School of Design, the same school where Tim Gunn of Project Runway fame was associated.

Also, just arriving is a cute little fairy named Tinkerbell from Jim Shore's Heartwood Creek collection.

We have pillows and tote bags from Manuel Weavers. If you look closely, you can see Shenandoah Valley written on the pillow along with Thomas Jefferson. We have other pillows in the collection for Mother's Day and every day decor.

Mom and Grandmother deserve a special pot this Mother's Day. Just look at those blooms. Come on in and see other special things for the special ladies in your life. One neat thing is a recordable photo album at a very special price, but quantities are limited!

We Have a New Look!

They arrived! Our new business cards arrived! It has been a year since we moved and changed the name of our store, but we had not changed our business cards. Thanks to our cousin Leslie's husband, John designed a whole new look for us with new cards. They are n-i-c-e! They look so trendy-not the blah conservative ones we had before. They will stand out amongst all business cards. Thanks, John, for your great work. I'll try to get a picture up when the natural light gets better around here.

Only 262 Days Until Christmas!

Can you believe that the Hallmark Christmas catalogs have come in, and we have to have orders ready by April 24? As you can see, the ornament, boxed cards, gift ware, and wrapping paper catalogs are on the counter, and we have already started calculating what we need to make the season bright.
Ornaments will be a little streamlined this year. This is the final year for some very special series such as the Candlelight Church, Lighthouse Greetings, and Cool Decade series. When old series conclude, new ones begin. We look forward to seeing A Visit From Santa and Festive Santa series. Back this year by popular demand are single miniature ornaments. An assortment of nine glass ornaments showcase exquisite craftsmanship. New faith ornaments that illustrate the story of Jesus' birth are included in this year's presentation. There are nine new ones to choose.
Beginning April 17, Dreambooks will be mailed out to KOC members and devoted Keepsake Crown Rewards members. Ornament Debut is July 11-12. Make plans to attend.

Jim Shore Bunnies

We have some new pieces of Heartwood Creek to brighten your home decor. Our Jim Shore bunnies are ready to hop on out to your home and add that festive touch to your Easter season. Our latest additions are A Bunny's Work Is Never Done and You're a Good Egg. A Bunny's Work Is Never Done features a rabbit pushing a wheelbarrow that can hold grass and candy or even small decorative bird eggs. The second piece, You're a Good Egg, shows Mr. Bunny pushing a Victorian stroller that contains a decorative egg with a removable top. When the top of the egg is removed, a baby rabbit appears. Both pieces are wonderful table top additions for your Spring decorating purposes and will bring joy to your Easter's for years to come. Or either one would make a wonderful Easter gift for that special person in your life. So, why don't you hop on by soon and take home a Jim Shore memory!
