Happy Birthdays!

Happy Birthday greetings go out to Connie and Guy at the store plus cousins Ben and Meredith in Richmond, sister-in-law Sandra and niece Beth. January is a great month to celebrate a birthday!!!

Welcome Sara!

We have an old-new face back with us. Sara, our JMU grad and soon to-be-graduate school student is back with us during Monday through Friday. Sara pays a lot of attention to organization and detail so she is helping to whip the store back into shape after the Christmas season. She hopes that her many of her friends will drop by to say hello! Welcome back, Sara!

New Willow Tree Pieces In Stock

Yesterday, a new shipment of Willow Tree angels arrived at Wright's Hallmark. We received Kindness (Boy), Kindness (Girl) Truly Golden, Close To Me, Spirit of Giving, and Angel of Freedom. These will be very popular for the Valentine holiday. If you are a collector, stop by soon or let your friends and family know that you are interested in one of these new pieces for gift giving. Also, we are anxiously awaiting the new Willow Tree votive holders. The stand has arrived and now we need the product to fill the merchandiser! We have a new goodie from Willow Tree arriving for Mother's Day so stay tuned!

It's a Snow Day!

No school today and we are not open either! So I am home checking out new products for our store. I am in the middle of ordering the Jim Shore Birthday Angels. We have been listening to our customer requests and this is one that we kept hearing over and over. Each angel represents a different month of the year, and is one of the smaller versions of angels that Jim Shore produces. Hopefully, we will have them for your gift giving and February birthdays.
Also, we have had requests for the Lolita wine and martini handpainted glasses. I've made contact with the makers and look forward to carrying this merchandise next month.

Happy New Year From Wright's Hallmark

We want to wish all our friends and customers a very happy new year! This past year has been quite a challenge with our move to the new Town Center and theuncertainty of the economy, but we are dedicated to make 2009 the best year ever!
Is anyone interested in registering their Willow Tree pieces? So often we have customers who wish to buy Willow Tree gifts for others, but are afraid to do so because of getting a duplicate piece someone already has. I am toying with the idea of a registry so that friends and relatives feel wonderful about a Willow Tree purchase. So if you are interested, stop by or call me and let me know what you think.

Santa Meets Stuart and Moe

Our great nephew Stuart and his monkey Moe visited Santa at Old Trail in Crozet on Saturday, December 13. Actually, Moe was the one to sit on Santa's lap. Stuart made sure that Mo told Santa what he wanted. Stuart assured Santa that Mo had been a good monkey this year and deserved some good presents. Moe told Santa that Stuart, too, had been a good little guy and would Santa be sure to stop at Stuart's house and leave him some Thomas the Train pieces? Needless to say, Santa made a trip to Grayrock Drive and left Stuart and Moe many wonderful things.
